Our Team

Sofía (28) and Pedro (29) are the visionary co-founders of Vortico Films, a dynamic video production company with a passion for storytelling through film and commercials.

Sofía excels as a Director, Producer, and Editor, while Pedro’s expertise lies in being a Director of Photography, Editor, and Colorist.  

Their debut short film, El Silencio de la Tierra, won both Best Cinematography and Best Actress at the SEC Sivar En Cortos 2019 Festival, and their work has been selected as a semi-finalist at the prestigious New York Latino Film Festival. Notably, they’ve also lent their Director of Photography and Camera Operating skills to Cosificada, a short film produced for the United Nations and Fusades, which has received recognition at international film festivals.

Having collaborated with talented actors, producers, and filmmakers from around the world, Sofía and Pedro are always seeking new creative challenges. Recently, they directed and produced their first music video, showcasing their versatility and creativity. Additionally, their mastery of color correction and color grading has made them sought-after professionals in the industry.
